I am cross-posting this in the criminal and appellate forums. I am briefing a case involving the use of Chapter 64. Therefore, I am looking for the names and cause numbers of cases where the defendant was able to get DNA testing either through agreement with the State or a trial court ruling on an opposed motion. If anyone has an example that you can quickly lay hands on, I would really appreciate the information. All I really need is the name of the defendant, the court, and the case number. It would be great to also have the date of the order, but that isn't necessary. Please email any responses to rachel.patton@oag.texas.gov Thanks in advance!

You might also check with OCA to see if they track any of that. I want to say that they were required to do so when Ch. 64 was first enacted, but that mandate may have been repealed at some point.
