In a great decision for law enforcement, the Court of Criminal Appeals today held that a defendant has no right to privacy during a conversation with a co-defendant at the police station, even when placed into a room by the police. For details, see

The beauty of technology and recorded confessions continues to grow.

So now, if you don't get what or all you want on the "on-board" taping system in the patrol car, put them to together again at the station. Will not the courts someday require a Scheineman warning, that anything you say to anybody after arrest may be used against you?
