In a great decision for law enforcement, the Court of Criminal Appeals today held that a defendant has no right to privacy during a conversation with a co-defendant at the police station, even when placed into a room by the police. For details, see http://www.cca.courts.state.tx.us/opinions/119601a.htm The beauty of technology and recorded confessions continues to grow.

So now, if you don't get what or all you want on the "on-board" taping system in the patrol car, put them to together again at the station. Will not the courts someday require a Scheineman warning, that anything you say to anybody after arrest may be used against you?
