I have a case where a man who was arrested started shouting that he had COVID-19. We are charging him with false report. False alarm/report can be State jail felony if it interfered with public services. Examples are water, electrical, sewage, and then it’s pretty broad. Would keeping the peace be considered public service? Or, detention center considered a public service? I would think so but I want to see how everyone else is handling it?
