I've read CCP 21.31 regarding compelling a defendant in a Sexual Assault to get tested for AIDS. Is there a procedure to compel testing for a non-sexual assault case in which the defendant is accused of biting the complainant (breaking the skin and causing complainant to bleed)? Defendant told police she has HIV. Thanks in advance.

CCP Art. 18.22 allows the testing to be done if a peace officer is the victim.
