NBC Cancels "Law & Order"

NBC confirmed Friday that it had canceled the original "Law & Order," bringing an end to a 20-year-old television drama details

Ok, I'm not sure I have actually sat through an episode since the beginning of the McCoy administration, but my sentimental attachment to Law and Order stems from the fact that it premiered my first semester of law school and to me it was the "anti-L.A. Law." And it was alot easier to explain cases to people in terms of "remember that episode of Law and Order......".

That series "jumped the shark" years ago. It started nicely out of the gate but faded down the back stretch and should've been put down well before reaching the finish line.
