Chapter 62 states that a second violation that does not result in a deferred makes you a reg sex offender

Does a deferred on the first with a conviction on the second make you a reg sex offender?

I believe it does by reading the statute since it refers to violations and not convictions.

Do you have the TDCAA "Sex Offender Registration" handbook? On page 22 in the chart re 10 year registration... it says "Indecent Exposure (must have two convictions). I only had a quick look, so you may wish to research further...
