Does a driver have to fully cross the center line and if so, for how long in order for there to be a violation of failure to drive on the right side of the roadway? There is no evidence showing lack of safety for failure to maintain a single lane.

The applicable statute, TTCA 545.051, does not contain any language regarding whether the movement can be done safely, unlike 545.060. Check out Johnson v. State, 365 S.W.3d 484 (Tex. App.--Tyler 2012, no pet.); and Bracken v. State, 282 S.W.3d 94 (Tex. App.--Fort Worth 2009, pet. ref'd).
