Defendant in custody and receives Miranda warnings. Defendant is questioned and denies. Camera shut off and within minutes camera back on with Defendant still in the room. Questioning resumes because Defendant wants to change his story and confess. Officers remind him his "earlier warnings still apply" but they are not read to him prior to his confession. Can anyone direct me to applicable case law? All I'm finding are the "two-part: question first/Miranda second" line of cases that don't fit. | ||
