Local JP has presented some questions regarding the responsibility for the complaint in Class C Theft by Check and Issuance of Bad Check charges. He has presented answers from some source saying County Attorney has obligation to investigate and file these types of cases. My elected has asked that I put this out on the forum to see how other counties are handling these cases, especially smaller counties.
