Is there a criminal offense for Unauthorized release of MV registration? I have found under Tx Transportation code Sec 730.004 where it is prohibited, however, there is no offense or punishment attached. This release was NOT for remuneration or any monetary gain. I am aware the release of CCH info is clearly listed under Sec 411.085. Thnks.
