Issue: Running a search warrant in a joint effort with another state, and on a subject of interest to the SEC (the stock people, not the Gators). Are there any limits on sharing the seized evidence with members of law enforcement from other jurisdictions, and with investigators from federal agencies? Can't find a way to get this answered through traditional research.

Once the evidence becomes known to and in the possession of a government agency through a valid search warrant, what reasonable expectation of privacy could the person have thereafter? Absent some statute or federal regulation prohibiting such sharing of information, what complaint would your suspect have?
