Murder trial coming up on Monday. The death occurred in 1987, before the law changed regarding charging the jury about sudden passion at the punishment phase. Does anyone have a jury charge from 1987-1994 (when the law changed)for a murder case where the jury is instructed on sudden passion at the Guilt/Innocence phase?

It would be greatly appreciated.

There is one in McCormick's Texas Practice, Sec. 113.1. The book has a CD with the charges--look in folder 113 for file 113.1.

I much prefer these charges over McClungs book.

Thank you so very much for responding, John. I've searched this office incessantly for McCormick's to no avail. Still, it was very kind of you to respond. Have a good day!
