If you support the idea of a new category of appellate certification for criminal lawyers, please express your support by sending an e-mail to Odessa Bradshaw at TBLS (obradshaw@texasbar.com) indicating that you support the proposed certification area and why. You also could suggest how many prior appeals a person should have handled to qualify for applying to take the test (10, 15, 25, 50?).

Personally, I think it would enhance the standing of our excellent appellate prosecutors to have this new area for certification.
