This is my first ETJ case. The CCP 45 states I must allege that the offense was commited in the territorial limits of the municipality in which the complaint is made.

What is the appropriate language to use for a complaint to comply with CCP 45 when the offense occures in an ETJ?


EXAMPLE: ...within the territorial limits of the city of Houston, territorial limits includes said city's extraterritorial limits, Texas...


Also, anyone ever work an ETJ that crossed county lines? Does that matter? Tx Loc Gov Code 42 doesnt address it either.
