County road is surfaced with medium sized gravel. There is a "mound" of gravel which runs down the right of way to keep run off from causing ruts in the neighboring field. Landowner managed to move the rocks onto the roadway from the right of way, making the road seriously bumpy for trucks, and possibly damaging for passenger vehicles. Clearing the rocks BACK off the road is about 4 hours of maintainer / operator time. I could use suggestions for the "don't do it again" letter to the land owner. Apparently he did it in January, then again in March. (If nothing else, I'm out a good set of heels from walking in the stuff!) Lisa L. Peterson Nolan County Attorney | ||
