Recently, we have had a number of our petroleum based product (ie.- asphalt and emulsions) suppliers raise there rates for the product and delivery. We have used a very informal bid request and acceptance process in the pasted. We are looking to update the forms and process being used, in order hold these suppliers to there original bid prices. I am looking for any contracts or forms that other Counties are using to accept bids or request bids from suppliers. Hopefully, they will contain contractual language about no price changing. But, anything you might have will be better than the method we use, a phone call.
