Our County CLerk uploads files to her FTP site for Title Company A, and they pay $100.00 per month for text and image files of her records four times a month. The clerk offered the same to Title Company B, and they sent Title Company A to talk to her about Title Company B not wantint to accept. Title Company A is considering letting the Title Company B access their system and charge $50 instead of $100. So B would go through A to get $100 info for $50.

We've researched Govt. Code 552.204 and it appears we may not be able to stop this.
