With the coivd restrictions on transferring inmates to a TDCJ facility......What, if anything, are others doing with extraordinary medical expenses incurred by those inmates who have been sentenced to a state facility, but remained in the county jail for months awaiting acceptance by TDCJ? In the normal course of operations, those inmates would have been transferred long ago. Specifically, expenses that are related to life threatening conditions(heart attack, stroke) that can run into the hundreds of thousands of dollars. Any way to get state reimbursement? Thanks | ||
