El Paso County has been collecting the $5 law enforcement officer fee on citations issued by school district police officers pursuant to Code of Crim. P. art. 102.011. Are any other counties collecting the fee for school districts and, if so, are you charging the school district any fee or percentage for managing the collection and disbursement. The Local Government Code authorizes us to charge the State for this purpose but is silent as to collections for non-State entities.
