I represented our local Bail Bond Board in a de novo appeal of a denial of a Bondsman license. The trial court ruled against us but we want to appeal. If we do so, must the Board post a bond to cover the loss in revenue of the bondsman during the pendency of the appeal if we want to prevent the bondsman from making bonds during that time? If so, should we allow the bondsman to have the license during the pendency of the appeal to avoid potential liability?
