Would like to know how some other counties are effecting service on protective orders. Our clerk's office automatically defers to certified mail unless we specially request personal service. That is okay...it seems to be working. I am more concerned with service on resettings. I am assuming that service has to be effected every time there is a resetting. Do you guys serve them all over again, or do you just send notice by letter and hope they appear? Of course I am talking about the pro se respondents.
