“The disciplinary proceedings against appellant stemmed from an incident that he refers to as an innocent “April Fools' Day Joke” in which he assaulted other inmates and attempted to escape. Appellant states that he was given his Miranda warnings and was formally arrested for “criminal freeworld charges” as a result of the incident.” Ford v. Institutional Division et al, 1997 WL 33804116 (Tex. App. – Eastland 1997)

Nothing says good-natured fun like a prison fight and escape attempt. Actually alleging that in a court filing itself has the trappings of an April Fools' joke.
