Did the statute regarding the $25,000 limit before bids are required by a county change?
one of my commissioners swears it went to $ 50,000 but the pocket parts i have do not reflect that, and i do not recall seeing anything in the legislaive updates about it.
Thanks

Section 262.023(a) of the Local Government Code now reads "$50,000" instead of "$25,000." The change was made in Acts 2009, 81st Leg., ch. 1266, sec. 4 (eff. 6/19/2009). Sorry, but I don't know the bill number.
