Does the lack of a notary seal on a voluntary relinquishment of parental rights render the relinquishment invalid? I've looked at the Civil Practice and Remedies Code, the Government Code, and the Family Code, and it appears that a seal is required on a jurat for it to be effective. I'll gladly listen to anyone who has any authority to the contrary.
