I have a bail bondsman that wants his $15 bail bond fee to be refunded. Sec 41.258 (f) of the gov't code says he can get a refund but doesn't say where he makes the request. The County only keeps 10% (or $1.50) adn the rest goes to the state, so don't want to pay $ that we already paid to the state. Any hints? Thanks for all that sent replies to my records retention question.
