We have a DWI (blood taken at hospital) trial coming up soon where the defense will have this witness testify about proper hospital procedures in withdrawing/testing the blood. Not sure if she can testify about blood/alcohol content or give an opinion as to whether the numerical results (0.21 blood/alcohol level) are valid because she is not a doctor? Any info on prior transcripts or the allowable scope of expert RN testimony would be appreciated.
