Hi All, I need the name of a good forensic pathologist to testify in a federal habeas hearing. The issue is whether the victim was dead from a .22 to the head that occurred about 30 sec before the petitioner shot him with a shotgun. There isn't much in the way of evidence. At trial, the ME involved testified that the red ring of blood around the shotgun wound indicated he was still alive at the time he was shot with the shotgun. If you have any recommendations, please either post them here, or email me at carole.callaghan@oag.state.tx.us thanks! Carole S.
