I am working on a death penalty case state court post-conviction writ in which habeas counsel is asserting a claim that trial counsel should have investigated and presented evidence that the defendant suffered from Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Disorder. She is relying on reports from Dr. Richard Adler, Dr. Paul Connor, and Dr. Nancy Novick Brown, who are all part of a group called FASDExperts based in the state of Washington.
