Would it be possible to reverse the order of the postings so that more recent ones appear at the top? Some of the topics discussed here such as having an open forum or not go on for weeks and months. Would be nice not to have to scroll through all that to get the new stuff.

Try clicking on the "New since your last visit" language near the top and you will only see the most recent posts.
