I have several offense reports being turned into our office without the child being taken in to get magistrated first. Now, I have a couple cases where I filed a petition, but I can't get an attorney appointed because the Judge says the child needs to get magistrated first. So do I proceed to file directive to apprehends? I've tried sending interoffice memos asking the law enforcement agencies to magistrate the child , but they don't seem to be effective. Essentially, they are not taking the child in even after these are sent out. Pls advise as to how any other offices handle these situations. Thanks in advance.
