What if a juvenile is adjudicated for a sex offense in Texas and given deferred registration but subsequently moves to a state where registration for that offense would be mandated? We have a kid where deferred registration seems more than reasonable but the probation will immediately be transferred to Illinois where registration would be mandatory. Do the registration laws of the "receiving" county control? Any help would be appreciated.
