I have seen in case law that a juvenile probation cannot be revoked during the pendency of an appeal. 2 questions for you juvi experts: 1. WHen 56.01g says an appeal does not release the child from the order of the court, or the custody to whose care the child is committed, does that mean that the child has to submit to probation? 2. If the child does have to submit, how do you enforce it if the underlying case is on appeal? 3. If the child is on probation and after a certain time asks for early termination, does the judge have the power to grant it while the appeal is pending? And if he does, is the appeal then moot? | ||
