Has anyone gotten a bill for a medical records subpoena?.. I got one from Baylor All Saints that contract with Vital Chart. They are trying to bill us for $108 for a medical records subpoena

I would look at Op. Tex. Att'y Gen. No. JC-0181 (2000). Although it looks at financial records there is a lot of discussion regarding the policy behind criminal subpoena's and that the subpoenaed party is normally responsible to bear their own costs. I hope this at least gives you a good starting point.
