I have been assigned to research redacting software and saw that the last time this was discussed was a couple of years ago, so.............

What does your office use?
Would you recommend it (the software you are using)?
Is it USER-friendly?

We not only want to edit out 55 mins of a 10 minute traffic stop (for example), but be able to edit out bits and pieces, if necessary.

Ours is not the best but we use Roxio Creator 2010 and it will do what your are trying to do.
