Here is a list of what what I know so far:

Sandy Fisher (972-825-5215) will arrange for the flowers to come from the office. We will be sending a spray of flowers shaped as his investigator's badge with a sash showing his name and badge number on it. If you want to pitch in, she expects the cost to be about $150 or so.

The visitation is going to be Friday, April 13, 2007, at the Grace Temple Ave. Church, 402 E. 14th Ave., Corsicana from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.

The funeral is going to be Saturday, April 14, 2007, at Straight Way Missionary Baptist Church, 400 S. 15th St., Corsicana at 11:00 AM. We have maps to get there.

The Burial place is still pending.

The DA's Office will be taking a dinner to the family also on Friday.

Ellis County DA's office did a excellent job on Mike's funeral. There was at least 2-3 marked squad cars from every Ellis County law enforcement agency there, plus a Texas DPS Honor Guard detail. TCLEOSE presented Felicia (Mike's wife) with a folded Texas flag that had covered his coffin during the ceremony. A DPS trooper played taps at the grave side and they did a 10-42 for his radio number over the Ellis County radio channel.

Mike would have been very proud.
