Judgment placing defendant on community supervision is signed. Thereafter defendant perfects an appeal. Defendant either makes or is not required to post an appeal bond. The appeal suspends the supervision order. Thereafter the judgment is affirmed and mandate issues. Is it necessary to now enter a judgment nunc pro tunc (or some type of amendment) to correctly indicate the (new, real) period of probation? What about if the judgment required defendant to serve a period of confinement in a state jail (up front) as a condition? | ||
