I have a CPS case being appealed to Amarillo. Both appellants (mother and father) have filed their briefs. I have received a copy of a letter today directing the mother to refile a brief that complies with the TRAP. The brief failed to comply in a couple of respects. As far as I can tell, the father's brief was in compliance. My question is: does the new due date for the appellant mother's brief extend my brief's due date?

When I've had this happen, the order for re-briefing normally says when the appellee's brief is due. If your order doesn't say, you should call the coa and ask when your brief is due. They are likely to still have the record (if they are doing a new brief) so your clock shouldn't be running.
