I am currently working on two cases against a defendant that both arose out of the same course of conduct. I am appealing the judge's ruling on a Motion to Quash Information on one of them but the other one is still set on the trial docket. I don't want to try it until the Court of Appeals rules on the other one. Is there anything I can do other than dissmissing this case and re-filing once the Court of Appeals rules? Has anyone else had this issue come up?
