-I could use some help with the new CCP art 38.43
-The new CCP art 38.43(c) eliminated the beginning words "Except as provided by (d)".
-38.43(c) allows for destruction when def released, paroled, etc.
-38.43(d) allows destruction after notification so long as def does not object.
-In my opinion, the deletion of the above words does not affect the meaning of 38.43(c) because otherwise this subsection (c) would have no meaning.
-Is this interpretation unreasonable. Any comments
