Does anyone have a good contact for getting pen packets out of California? I either get the run around or no answer at all when trying to get information and/or paperwork out of them.

I had great success calling individual prison units records section and asking for a 9B9 package. The indiviual unit can generate it, and it is certified, etc.

To anyone who needs it. I spoke with the California DOC and was given contact information for pen packets. The phone number is 916-445-9652. You can fax your request to 916-323-7374. It takes them a while to respond. On average of three months but you will get your information.

Waited patiently, got my docs....no prints, no photos, no id info other than DOB.

How many Charles Flores' do you think there are in Fresno California ??
