I want to try charging theft by check - aggregate against some of my hot check writers. Several have written numerous checks in a short period of time -- all without sufficient funds.

Appreciate any advice / help.

In general you just allege each individual check as a separate count in one Information then at the end you add the aggregation paragraph which is Sec. 31.09(1) of the TDCAA Charging Manual. If you have a lot of checks the Information will end up being several pages long. If you need a sample to look at email me at g.bunyard@co.llano.tx.us
