For anyone with experience dealing with LEADRS reports, does LEADRS improve prosecution or make it more difficult? Would any of you recommend using it or recommend against it? I'm trying to get as much feedback as possible on the legal end. Thanks

Well, first tell us who you are, BR.

Sorry I didn't mention it. I'm a police officer of a decent sized department here in Texas and recently had the torch passed down to me to try to get the program running in our department. I wanted to get some opinions on the legal side of it since everyone claims it's going to reduce report writing time by up to 50%. This would be very useful since a regular DWI will keep an average officer off the streets writing for about 3-4 hours.

I helped get LEADRS kicked off at my department (Marble Falls) and everyone seems to love it. I have visited with one of our assistant CA's and he seemed to like it as well.

It really does save time, DWI's take me an average of just over 2 hours from start to finish now.
