Here's a hypo:

Bunch of people over several months are seen several times in a gambling house. They're there at different times on different days. In order to catch them all as parties, can we use a date range in the indictment of say 5 months?

My guess: yes. The purpose of the date is notice and the SOL. We're well within the SOL. And notice is within a specific date range. But is it kosher to do that?
