Is there a method to prevent the public release of autopsy reports in an on-going investigation where the release may hamper investigative efforts?

There is an AG opinion that indicates the State may seek an order from the judge, sealing the autopsy, if release would interfere with the investigation or prosecution.

The opinion is JC-0542. I used to keep from having to release the autopsy reports in KFC.
