quote: As a truck driver, this legislation didn't look good initially. When I read the quote above, I changed my mind. Maybe a buried traffic court system will discourage the revenue collection machine that law enforcement has become. There are construction zones I drive through regularly that NEVER have any construction, but always a trooper waiting to make a buck. And speeding fines have become ridiculous. I have alway favored a proposal where the states did not get to keep fines from citations written to commercial vehicles. How can a system be equitable and just when states and municipalities use law enforcement as a revenue collection tool? | |||
