D has wife report his truck stolen (from county of residence, truck was allegedly taken from another county)

Insurance takes report and contacts D, D completes report to insurance company.

Insurance company pays on stolen vehicle.

I think venue is proper were D cashed check (county of residence), and were he reported truck stolen. Any disagreements?

Just to add to the problem. Two checks are written one to credit union and one to D. Can I use the total of the two checks to get to a third degree?

G,

I think you can use both totals together. The check to the CU is still a benefit to him since he no longer has to pay his monthly note.

One of the Dallas Auto Theft Task Force/ Insurance Fraud guys taught at a Arson conference with me this week. His presentation was really good and informative, I have his card if you want to contact him.
