Has anyone been able to get a protetive order, including findings of family violence, admitted in the related criminal case?

Hard to see how a judicial finding by lesser standard of proof can be helpful to the trier of fact by b-r-d standard that assault occurred. Maybe useful at punishment, or if it goes to demonstrate a pattern showing the nature of the relationship as admissible under ccp 38.37 ?
