I was employed by my county D.A.'s office as a part-time prosecutor from December 2000 to December 31, 2001. I went full time on January 1, 2002. Since that time I have continously been employed by the D.A.'s office. My question is this: "Does part time count toward the lifetime credit?" The statutes are unclear as to how part time work fits the requirements. Any direction would be appreciated!

I went part time about 2 years ago, and I lost my longevity pay. My recollection is the text of the statute quite clearly applies to full-time employees . . . Just another way to stick it to working moms, I guess.
