Unlawful Possession of Firearm -- need to be in working order?? Login/Join

The definition of firearm doesn't seem to require that the firearm be in working order. Does anyone know if the firearm must be found in good working order, and if so, or not if there is case law etc... pointing to that.

Thanks!

Try this case. I believe it's directly on point.

Moore v. State, 2001 Tex. App. LEXIS 4618
