I have a intoxication assualt defendant who's lawyer has put her on a SCRAM device about 2 months ago. Does anyone have any experience with these devices or testimony about them? I don't know if the science behind them is going to pass muster under Kelly, and I also think there have got to be ways to fake out the device. (Like, wear a sock for a while during and after drinking?)
